automate 2 way car alarm/rs problems?

let me start off by saying i bought this AUTOMATE 2 Way Car Alarm Remote Starter Pager on ebay a few days ago. I'm not shure of the model number because it does not say it in the manual or the module. The problem i am haveing is when i hook up the 12v+ for the car starter everything is fine and then when i hook up the other 12v+ near the doorlocks like the manual says the led goes off..so it seems like half of the alarm brain is working which is the remote start "only cranks the starter but wont start" but the alarm part wont work. parking lights dont flash,siren dont chrip,...automate only works if i only plug in the red wire 12v+ from the relay but not both . it wont work if i hook up the side near the ground -....please help as i had to take it out already not sure what to do here. i was thinking can it be the jp1 inside the case? i install two alarms in the past but never had this happen before Stylez
