I am pretty sure they do! I've tried to hotwire a couple with anti-thefts, when i do, the starter cranks, but the engine never engages, the antitheft light continues to blink, i'm not arguing here, like i said i dunno if the specs on your us fords are different!

t&t tech,
In my experience it depends on the model. '97-'03 F-series pickups I believe would crank with no start, as would most of the other early immobilizer vehicles. Later ones won't crank at all.

As i said guys i'm not arguing here, but, i have a 2007 ford ranger at company's disposal, which i personally installed the auto security into, and when i attempted to hotwire, the van cranked, but the antitheft light kept blinking during my attempts, which is why i wanted to inform mr metz, just as you chris, this is my personal experience!

Thanks for all the suggestions. I had the unit in and wired in less than a hour, however my problem was a bad bypass module. You take it for granted that when you buy something new it will work. This was my first vehicle R/S utilizing a programmable bypass module and having a bad one just baffled me. I replaced the module and was good to go.
