Hello all. I have a friend who's truck I have worked on in the past. He has recently asked me about what I thought would be a simple solution for his boat. Basically, he has a 4 channel head unit and 4 speakers for the deck of the boat. He also has a pair of speakers in the cabin. He has asked me to put an A/B switch in so he can switch back and forth betweek one pair of desk speakers and the cabin speakers. In my searches though, all I am finding are home decora wall plate type switches. I'd like something a little smaller, like a simple toggle switch, or at least a smaller switch with a control unit elsewhere, so the switch can be mounted in a small ABS panel with the some other pre-existing switches. Any advice would certainly be appreciated. Thanks! -Bill

Radio Shack makes just what he needs... (clicky...)
Don't try to re-invent the wheel... This'll cost less, (when you figure time and materials) be an assured solution, AND allow an upgrade path.
It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."

Thanks. I had seen those and thought about it. Been a while since I have seen the boat so not sure, but think I could be able to find room for that in a location he can easily get to. Will check it out next time. Thanks again.
