Hello, I just had to sell my truck where I was running 2 12" Type R subs off of a Fosgate 801s... I had fosgate interiors running off of a 400W Alpine. I had to trade the truck in and needed some extra money so I sold the Fosgate amp. What is a cheap amp that will power those subs well? Im big into brands but since money is tight I was looking at less popular brands such as Boss, Lanzar, Crunch and even Kenwood... If you know of any amps that will push those subs well please let me know.

Well I have a cheap solution for you. You could buy a 200w amp kit for about $40 bucks, solder it together, construct a 12V psu for it (about $60) and there ya go. 200watts. You'll have to put a low pass crossover on it though but that's what I did for my car.

WTH? I'm beginning to think you have no idea what you are talking about...
It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."

I am usually against hifonics but you could do a BXi1210d. Stable at one ohm. Says it does 1200rms but they are a bit inflated on numbers. But at $180 new of ebay. It would fit the bill.

I know it is a little above your budget but an AudioQue AQ1200D would work well. It is like $229 shipped.
