689m, no neutral/safety input on the rs

What I need to know: When does the 689m BLACK/ white wire show ground? When it is in ready mode, or when it is NOT in ready mode? the details: I'm getting ready to put one of those Scytek/asianwolf 2-way remote starts in a manual '01 accord. I have been looking at the diagram for the 689m and noticed that the BLACK/ white wire is supposed to be hooked up to the neutral/safety input of the remote starter, but the RS doesn't have that input. What it does have is a hood pin switch input so I'm thinking I can use that instead...   

Yes you can but if it's missing that what else is it missing? 

The remote start isn't missing anything, it is new.... It just wasn't designed with a neutral/safety input, so it was meant to be used on automatic cars only. That's why I got the 689m, because it said it was compatible with any remote starter. Obviously, this is not the case. I'm sure there is a way to make it work. Since most people say you can ground the neutral/safety input when installing in an automatic, I will assume that the 689m shows a ground on the BLACK/ white wire while in ready mode. So I need an input on the remote starter that will prevent the car from starting unless it sees a ground. The only input that comes to mind is the hood pin switch, however it works the opposite way I need it to.... It prevents the car from starting if it is grounded. I need to flip this so it prevents the car from starting when it is NOT grounded. If I can do that, I should be able to use it with the 689m BLACK/ white wire. So, any way you can think of to reverse the way the hood pin switch input works? I'm thinking a relay or two could somehow be configured to do this.

use the BLACK/ white wire to trip a relay opening a ground on the hood pin wire... if you are using the hoodpin, then add a diode to isolate from the switch...or do the same using a relay and a diode to do the same on the brake input, (isolating it from the brake switch in the car)....Kevin Gerry

Honestly, I don't know if I'd worry about connecting the neutral safety output from the 689M at all. You still have the clutch bypass which is only operative in Ready mode, so it's not compromising the safety at all. If you want, an easier way would be to have a relay, normally open, interrupting the "starter" output from the remote start.
