I just installed a excalibur al-1820-edp on a 1999 tahoe.I used an omega db-pass-23a as the passkey interface. While programing the unit I follwed the instruction for the tach learning procedure. Now when I use the remote start the vehicle starts up then dies.Any ideas?

The ground out when running is the wire that activates the bypass. That is your problem. Does your unit have a wire labeled as (-) ignition output or (-) 3rd ignition output? Different companies call it different things.

Which ground out wire did you use, I troubleshooted a similar problem last night and we use positive 2nd ignition wire to supply a relay and create that ground when running, according to the schematic and the guy I was talking to...none of the wires tested ground when running...your input would be greatly appreciated.
