I am looking for some sort of mechanism that could lock my truck box that I could run off of my keyless entry system. I don't really know what is available, but I am looking for something maybe like a jaw that clamps onto a post when it is actuated, or some other type of mechanism that could function with the internal locking mechanism on the truck box. If it helps anyone, this is a single lid trunk style Husky Box from Home Depot. Maybe someone could steer me in the direction of where I could find specialty locking mechanisms and what not.

brad you could add a door lock motor to it, but you would have to fabricate the mechanism that will lock. you have to be creative.

well I had thought about doing that, but I was hoping that someone would know about something more specialized that wouldn't require so much modification and fabrication.

Still looking for a supplier of custom locking mechanisms...anybody know anything?
