The first thing to remember is you'll need an actuator for the driver's door to control the locks.  What colours do you need?  What model?  It's pretty staight forward except for window close, switches are pos at rest.

Let me know and we'll see how good my memory is.

The owner doesn't care to much about door locks, just the starter part - park lights - door pin is all I should need.

Dor pins are BROWN / grey, trunk pin is positive, if I remember you can rewire the combined light/switch unit in the trunk lid to give you neg trigger. The ignition leads are all pink/colour (pink/red is ign1), starter PURPLE / ? all at ign, acc probably BLACK / YELLOW, grounds are all brown, lights all grey/? variable, headlights yellow and white with trace, idicators are BLACK/ white left and BLACK/ green right.

Yes except the 81 (W123 Model) needs an actuator as I already said and I doubt whether there's a factory alarm so my point about the trunk trigger stil applies. You wil need to relay out from your starter to connect ALL (pink primary colour) ignition leads. Tip if you can't get at them, remove the instrument panel but be careful with the rotary plug and the mechanical speedo. I've done an R/S on an 84 280CE with no grief.

I just realised, your's is a deisel so that info you posted  where it mentions the coil is irrelevant!  If there's a rev counter/tacho on the instrument panel, one of it's leads, probably GREEN/ YELLOW or YELLOW /GREEN is tach, OK I can't remember!

No dear lad and I have actually owned a Nissan or was it Datsun 280C back then as well as a Mercedes 280C. Both had hoods that could double up as an aircraft carrier.
