Looking for the audio wiring diagram for my 1992 Range Rover Classic. I believe late 80's through about 1994 should work. The former owner chopped the original harness off instead of shelling out $15 at Best Buy. Thanks.

I find no info at all on that vehicle. Neither on this site or at Audiovox.

If it has a rear factory sub and amp set-up be careful. I did a few about 10 years ago and they were straight forward, 8 speakers wires (4 pairs), constant, acc, illum, ant, and ground.

Thanks for the diagram. I'm having trouble telling what's what though. I'm honestly a bit rusty. Which is constant and which is switched? There's a ground wire bolted right to the chassis that I'm going to use.

And Howie II, I'm not sure, but I think this one's a bit different than you describe. There's no sub, nor is there any sign of one. I found the amp and the only outputs I've traced are for the six speakers (2 in each front door and a pair in the cargo area headliner). Not that it matters much, I'll be running my own amp. Just curiosity I suppose.

I am only guessing, PURPLE / White = Constant RED / Black = switched

Thanks for the diagramme 91STT, Inane, forget what I said about amp not used in this variant. it was later. Mr.I you're wrong, I have the advantage of remembering Ripault's UK colour schemes. Anything with purple is constant, RED / black (side) lights,light GREEN/ pink is ACC and black was ground.

As for the speakers, Front left = BLACK/ ;red and BLACK/ pink

Front right = BLACK/ brown and black white

Rear left = BLACK/ orange and BLACK / YELLOW

Rear right = BLACK/ blue and BLACK/ green

Don't worry about the speaker phasing, just follow in that order asuming + side first. There's no antenna pulse from the new head unit required because the antenna amp is powered via the ACC.
