I have almost finished installing a 5901 in my 2006 F350. I was using the domelight as a positive trigger for the doors but it seems to be giving me problems with the remote start. After arming, then remote starting the truck, when I disarm it to get in, it kills the remote start. I was thinking the signal to to domelight was causing the remote start to shut off. I also wanted to do domelight supervision anyways so i'd rather pickup the negative triggers from the doors and diode isolate them. I have seem the wire colors listed in another post and they say their located at the VSM but I can't seem to find it. I am looking at a metal box that sits on top the transmission hump and only has a little black plastic cover on front of it. The plug it has does not have any of the color wires in a previous post. Truck HAS keyless

I just can't seem to find those colors in a harness on the drivers side. If I keep using the wire I am now BLACK/ blue (+) domelight, what could be causing the remote start to deactivate when I disarm the alarm to get in the truck. Any ideas?

if you look up above the transmission hump behind the dash against the firewall from the drivers side, you have to reach for it and unplug the plugs and pull them down they are in there

also if you are going to use the individual wires you need to use 2 diodes on each wire, I don't have the diagram handy
