custom door latch, switch, relay?

I am trying to install a custom latch idea into a suicide door on a 33 roadster. I want to use a suicide door safety latch (gear motor actuated rod) as the latch. The concept is when you close the door the rod engages into a sleeve in the jamb post. I wouuld like to have some type of small rear jamb switch that is momentary on when pushed and sends a pulse to activate the motor. The switch would then stay pressed while the door is closed with no current. To reopen the door I am installing a recesed momentary switch in the back of a custom grab bar (hidden). this will reopen the shaft so it remains open until the door closes and reactivates the rear jamb switch and so on.

I need to know if there is such a switch for the jamb or a relay setup and a switch that will work to close the motor and a way to wire the second momentary switch to reopen.

To do what you are wanting to do, you will need a timed relay or a constant to momentary relay for the latch portion of your setup.  How long does it take for the actuator to go from unlocked to locked?

You need a constant to momentary for the latch part.  If you are using a pinswitch mounted in the door jamb, it will have a relay energized the entire time the door is closed.  You need a pulse to lock it and then you want need the power to go away so it will not constantly be trying to insert the pin.  Is this correct?

I have a modified version of the following diagram on my other computer.  I will be able to post it this evening.  The parts are al the same.  Modified drawing is for negative trigger and negative output.  You can get the parts today if you need.
