I am wanting to connect my one pre out hu to my 4 channel amp, i have two pairs of splitters but my amp has instructions to put one pair into left and right input and also one pair into left and right output(response precision AA0426 4 x 100 watt). is this right?? do i even use the splitters and just connect my one preout to the left and right input on the amp??. thx

How do you intend to use the 4-channel amp?

I've never heard of your amplifier, does it have separate HP filter for channels 1 and 2 and a LP filter for channel 3 and 4?  If so, then sure you use a set of Y-cables and split the left out from the HU to both amplifier L inputs and the R to both R's.  Set the LP and the HP to about the same frequency and set your input gain carefully.  Good luck.

hi yes it has filters for each channel, i think i found the problem, the instruction manual is unclear and shows connections going from the hu to the output plugs on the amp wich are for an external amp, will use splitters to each line in connection on the amp and ignore the instructions. The instructions are posted at the bottom of this page http://www.mr2.org.nz/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=6657&start=30 what do you think?.thx for your help
