I took your suggestions and the car now starts. But it will start and then run for 5 seconds followed by shutting off. It will then re-start itself and then shut down after 5 seconds again. It will do this a third time and then completely shut off. I know I'm close to getting it right- any more help would be appreciated.

Tach issue! Program the unit to voltage! Up the crank time by 0.2 seconds, voltage threshold - low, engine checking- off! If the problem persists, locate tach wire, connect and learn!

how do I do this? I've searched the instruction book and this site but have found nothing. Please post clear steps as I'd most appreciate this. Thanks

Disregard the previous post as I've figured out how to learn the tach. The remote works perfectly now. Thanks a bunch to you guys for helping.
