I was reading about the passive starter kill on this site, and was trying to figure out the diagram ( https://www.the12volt.com/relays/page2.asp#psk).  Can someone please explain to me the purpose of the relay on the right, and especially the top red wire connecting pin 85 of left relay to pins 85 and 87 of the right relay and the switch.

It seems to me that whenthe switch is pressed and contact is made, current will flow through the top red wire completely bypassing the relay on the right.

as i see it: in order to flip the relay so the starter can engage you have to have the ignition powered, thus you need to put the key in then hold the switch and then crank it. thats is what i see
