I have installed Remote starts for 10 years and never had this happen. I'm hoping someone has a solution.

Remote was installed on 2005 Durango a year ago, worked fine with a Omega IB-UCH2GX no key required bypass.

Few weeks ago they had to jump start the vehicle and since then it won't remote start due to sercurity system.  Starts and Dies.  I can hold the Bypass right next to ingnition switch and remote start and still it won't work, so it's not an antenna wire loop problem.  Remote starts fine with one of the keys held by ignition switch.

Both original keys still work to start vehicle.  Bypass unit does not.  Tried to reprogram the bypass but after 2nd key the 3rd attempt with bypass the security light will come on solid for a few seconds but then starts flashing again and doesn't accept the code.  I've tried a new bypass and it does the exact same thing.

The programming mode works correctly but just won't learn the code.  Dealer say to erase all codes and start over with new keys!!!  Like a $500 deal!!!  Can I save my customer from this???

Thanks for any help you can provide!
