My astrostart doesnt seem to be recognizing my transmitter anymore.  It was working up until about 1 week ago.  I replaced the battery in the remote and still nothing.  I pulled the module (astroflex bbw) down from below the dash and there is a constant blinking red light when the truck is started with the key.  When I turn the motor off the blinking stops.  The light does not blink when I depress the brake pedal.  I checked as many wire connections as I could and did not see anything out of the ordinary.  I looked under the hood and I cant find the switch (if any) under the hood. Any idea where that would be located?   I traced a RED / black and GREEN/ black wire from the module to the motor and thats it.

I also tried to reset my remote using the module and the #8 switch and again the module does not recgonize when I push the brake.  I also tested all of the fuses that are on the harness (3EA)

Any Suggestions would be great.

I also noticed this morning that my truck acutally remote started itself.  I looked out the window and the truck was running.  I had the remotes in the truck.  Can you explain this one?

This may be (or seem) unrelated, but I have an Astrostart 2205, too. I'm hoping I can ask a favor. I've had it about 4 or 5 years and have had good luck with it. Unfortunately, it was super cold this weekend and the wires all got pulled out of the receiver unit (behind my rear-view mirror), and I don't have any idea what order to put them in, or which hole. I'm wondering if you'd be willing to take a look at yours and tell me the order (or better yet, post a photo)(if photos can be posted???)
I think I can plug them all in and make them stay, but I don't know the order.
Any help would be appreciated.

I believe so, yes. The wires that go into the little thing (antennae?) that sticks to my windshield, behind my rear-view mirror.

Thank you. That is exactly what I needed. Got it working again.
If anybody ever needs this info in the future, another way to look at it is that there are two blanks, and then -- immediately next to the 2nd blank -- it goes Black, Red, Yellow, and then Green.
There's probably a tool a guy's supposed to use to do this, but you can use a straightened, small paper clip to somewhat-gently push the metal clips out of the black, plastic jack that plugs into the antennae; open them up a little, insert wire, carefully close back up. Works like a charm.
Thanks again.
