thank you 91st. atleast someone knows what they are talking about..

Who didnt know...? The info posted is straight from the manufacture...These wires are requiRED / necessary to install a remote start in that vehicle... I think your lack of knowledge/terminology was the reason for your post not being answered the way you wanted it to...Mr.I was spot on witht he info he gave...Why would your radio being on matter...? Or at least add that specific requirement in your question...!! The remote start is supposed to simulate you starting the vehicle with the key...Doesnt your radio come on now when you start it with the key...Just be more specific with your questions...If you are un-sure...Say that...! Dont become combative or mean...Mr.I has a plethra of knowledge...Scroll through his posts...By the way...On alot of newer vehicles...If you dont power up certain Acc wires...then you get check engine lights...dash lights and gauges not working...! Either way he was spot on...And you are not...!

I appreciate your gratitude but this tone is really unnecessary. "I am" did try to help and I would confidently say that he probably knows more about this than I do. I have not been doing this professionally for over a decade but I do keep in the loop and continue to do jobs when I can.
For the most part, you should really wire up everything that has power when the ignition is turned on. Late model vehicles just have too much electronics to skip any of them, especially if its sub-circuits are not known. In this case, I had the wiring diagrams for this truck so it wasn't a big deal. More often than not, complete diagrams are not readily available or accessible. It is much safer to power everything even it is not needed than trigger a fault code. These causes of fault codes are the result of the installation, where the manufacturer does not have to honor the warranty.
