Hi guys i have a toyota camry 1996. I am installing an astra 1000rs remote start and alarm. Does the camry 1996 v6 have an imobilizer. Also do remote starters accept negative tach signal. Thanks

Negative tach signal? You are aware it's an A/C reading that signals tach!

Yeahi know tach is suppose to be a/c but my tech sheet says that it is a black negative wire near the strut tower, so that is what confuses me. Ill put a link to my  tech sheet.

http://www.commandocaralarms.com/wiring/1992-1996/Toyota/Camry/1510.html There at tach it says black (-).

Also does anyone know if this car has an immobilizer. This is my uncles car and i dont have acss to it until its installation time. Also i ordered the Astra 1000rs remote start and alarm. Does anyone know if this is a good one.Any comments on the range of it. Thanks.
