actually, dei units (or at least i know the vipers will) chirp the siren once a few seconds after the arm chirp to alert the user if it sees a zone active such as a door or a domelight if used as a door trigger. hence if you turn off the door error chirp, it won't do that but will still monitor that zone after the viper sees it correct itself

1) Open a door (green door wire must be seeing ground during this procedure)

2) Turn igniton on the off (ignition wire must be connected)

3) Press and hold valet switch until two chirps are heard

4) Press valet switch five times and hold on that fifth press, when you hear four chirps, press the unlock button on the remote, you should hear two chirps, that indicates success!
