Hello. I am working on a remote start in a 2004 F150. It is a Prestige APS620 with an iDatalink bypass. Everything is working great except the heater doesn't come on with the remote start (radio, but no heater).
Here are the wires that I used:
ignition - dk blue/lt green
accessory - BLACK/ lt green
I also found a second accessory that I thought might be needed since the heater didn't fire up. It is RED / black. When connected, the "door ajar" dinging goes away. But still no heat.
Any ideas?
Thanks.

All the colors you're describing are for the 1997-2003 body style.
If yours is one of those years, the accessory wire to activate the blower motor is gray / YELLOW.
It has been said that if you don't also power up the BLACK/ green, the AC compressor won't come on during remote start, for in the summertime.
If yours is really a 2004, though, the blower motor comes on with ignition, even if you don't hook up any accessories at all.

Thank you very much. I searched and searched before your post thinking that there had to be another wire. I finally found it tucked in among the other wires.
