I am hooking up a viper 5701 with  an idatalink ads-alca  in a cadillac deville  2001.  Not sure as far as the connections from datalink to rs  lock, unlock, trunk, disarm.   I have the ground out when running  going to the blue rs status -output, is this correct?   Also on the datalink not sure on the door status-output and the truck status-output...thanks for any help

on the idatalink piece. make sure it is flashed on the gm1 platform. then on the 3pin black harness red is 12v black is ground. blue/white is ground when running to the rs. on the 10 pin black plug GREEN/ black goes to your green -lock wire on the rs blue/black goes to the -blue unlock wire on the rs. the RED / white goes to your RED / white -trunk release wire on the rs. the brown wire goes to your lt.GREEN/ black -fasd wire on rs. the PURPLE / white goes to your PURPLE / white ac tach wire on rs. on the 3 pin white plug the yellow/black goes to your green -door trigger wire on rs. yellow/red goes to your -blue trunk trigger wire on rs. the 7 pin white plug the orange wire goes to the the purple data wire and the diagnostic plug under the drivers dash and the pink goes to ign in the car. when you have it all hooked up the module will flash one flash repeatedly. you need to press and release the program button it will flash 2 times repeatedly then. once its doing that press and hold the button until until it lights green for 2 seconds. then once it does that you have it programmed for hardwire mode. then all you have to do is start the car with the key the module should go from red to green for 2 seconds then the light will turn off and your done then just program your tach and thats it. hope this helps you.
