I'm installing a python 5702 (991) into my 2000 Acura Integra. The alarm side works fine, but I'm a little confused on the remote start part. I need to pick up an immobilizer, but right now the car should start with the key sitting in the ignition, right?

The wires I connected together are:

Car side                                                     5702 side

White constant +12v                                Red and RED / Black wires

BLACK/ White (Cut)                                      Purple and Green wires

BLACK / YELLOW                                              Pink

I didn't hook up the Ignition 2 (WHITE/ black) or the Accessory (Yellow). Are these wires needed? When I hit the remote start with the key sitting in the ignition (temp till I get the immobilizer bypass installed) the gauges light up but the starter never turns the engine over.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

It should be the orange wire.

I got the accesory wire and ignition 2 wires hooked up, but it will still not crank. The gauges power up, but the engine will not turn over.

The install manual reads: The H1/10 WHITE/ blue (-) Remote Start / Turbo Timer Activation Input wire : This input comes from the factory set to 1 activation pulse. This means that is is necessary to have a single ground pulse on the WHITE/ blue wire for the remote start to activate or to deactivate.

Could this be the problem? What is this wire for? I already grounded the neutral saftey switch wire. My car is an automatic.

Thanks.

Aren't there three red wires on that unit? I have never done that specific unit, but i do dei all day and the heavy gauge harness always has three power wires, i see you only mentioned two, is there another RED / ? wire?-

That WHITE/ blue wire isn't your problem- That's just an input trigger for an external source of starting (example a button)

Also did you connect the purple starter output to the side going to the engine bay?

+1 with t&t.  it should be a RED / white wire right?  if all three red wires aren't connected you won't get anything from the remote start.
