I have some questions about adding another set of front speakers in my truck. I have a 06 Toyota Tundra access cab with 6.5" components in the doors, 6.5 coaxial in the rear and (2) 8" subs. I was looking at the Q logic kick panels to add another set of components to the front. After searching here, I see a lot of posts about cancellation etc. My questions are is it a total waste of time and money to put these in, if not would 5.25 or 6.5 be better based on my current config. If I add them, I have an alpine PDX4.100 which is 2 ohm stable, do I just wire them parallel to the other fronts? Any advice or opinions are appreciated.

thanks

In general it is never a good idea to have two speakers in two different locations within a listening zone playing the same information.  Why do you want to add another set of speakers?

Just because. No reason really. Bored? Seriously, If it improves the sound, I am all in. I am not an audiophile, so I don't have the experience with different configurations. I installed the system I have in there now and really like it, just always looking for improvements. BTW, it was your posts that I saw that said it was a bad idea...:-)
