I have a 2006 poniac torrent that im installing a compustar ft-6200s-cont with a bypass idatalink blade-al. I got everything else working except for the crank. Ive read that i need to delay ign1 & drop voltage to the acc. How can i wire this to make it work.

I got it to work. What happen was i had both keysence wires one from the bypass and one from the compustar hooked up to the same lt-green wire keysence. I only neede to hook up the keysence to the bypass.

There a are couple of gotcha's on that car.

The Blade AL should be flashed with the GM4 firmware.

The Blade will do the door locks and alarm for you thru data.

First, you must attach keysense wire or else you will get a Engine check light.  This (keysense) is from the IDatalink 20 pin harness.

There is one IGN.  Its pink in the ignition switch harness.

I believe you need two ACC's.  One is orange and the other is brown, both in the ignition switch harness.

The blade must be programmed to the car first.  Follow the instructions and wait alteast 3 seconds between each step.

Start the car with the key and tach learn it next.  ( I usually connect the tach wire but being as its a "one touch" start you could go in tach less mode.)

The car will start (crank) when it sees the IGN and ACC's go to +12v and then the ACC's drop,  That should be part of the normal Compustars start sequence.

Soldering is fun!
