zx300.1

i have a kicker zx300.1 amp that was working in my old truck. got a new truck (the dodge) and now it won't work. when the truck is off i have +12 vdc at the power input. when i start the truck the input power drops to +6 vdc and the remote wire is +6 vdc as well. when the remote wire is out of the amp and the truck running the remote wire reads +12 vdc. any ideas??? btw all fuses in the amp and on my constant +12 vdc from battery are all good.06 Dodge Ram Quad Cab

What is your remote line hooked to? Is it hooked to an after market deck or a key hot?

Check the ground connection at both ends of your amplifier's ground wire.  If that is good, move your ground to a different piece of the vehicle.

thanx i will try that after work today. cause now my zx650.4 is doing the same thing. also can i use a distrobution block on my grounds for the amps or would i be better off running two seperate grounds???06 Dodge Ram Quad Cab

In my opinion, the best ground is the shortest possible ground.  There is no way to have both grounds as short as possible if they go through a distribution block.
