Has anyone had this issue before?  2003 Neon, installed customer owned HU, tested, sent it out the door.  She called on her way home and said her tach and speedo were not working.  I'm trying to figure out what the hell is related if anything before she gets here this afternoon.  Any ideas?  THX

I do not see how this could affect the tach and speedo, but did you ground the radio to the chassis or to a wire in the harness?    The illumination wire looks like a ground at first glance.  This will usually blow the fuse for the dashlamps or taillights.  But it is the only thing I can think of that you might want to check.

I asked the installer and he said he hooked to one in the dash....we will check it out and I will post my results.

thanks
