I am adding an HID kit to my bike and I have no room in the upper fairing. I have found that there is a company that makes 1 meter extension cables. My question is how long is to long when it comes to the bulb power wires. That is, the wires that carry power from the ballast to the bulb. I want to use a total of 2 meters. What do yall think.

It would be better to extend the power wires to the ballast, but since HIDs are HV & low current, extension of ballast to bulbs is not as critical as for LV lighting (ie, doesn't have to be as low resistance).

You should not have any problems using an extra 2Meters of wire.  Just make sure the wire is designed for HID use.  As stated earlier, it is a very high voltage device.  There is very little current going through it.  The thickness of the insulation is much more important than the diameter of the wire conductor itself.
