2004 jeep liberty truck, lock wire

I can not find the wire for tying into according to this set up. (The pink/purple wire in fuse box i cant find) I also can not find the trunk release wire (ORANGE / pink) Can anyone please help me find these? I Went back behind the fusebox and i see a crap ton of wires and just need a hint as to where they are located. IIRC theres a harness that goes into a module to the left of the brake, right next to the firewall... if they're not there, they should both be in the kickpanel in the f/r harness

I was able to locate the wires, and solder them in to my set up. I don't get anything our of either. I have a -250mA line going to the hatch release and then i have a 1-wire system rigged up for the lock/unlock system and everything is a no go on a 1WAM-S Compustar remote start set up. I will look into this more, seems like it would have to be some kind of programming issue on the brain module. I will post my findings.

Did you install the bypass unit? This will do the key immobilizer and also translate all the commands to the jeeps computer

Lock/Unlock-Its a pink/purple wire, in rear of fuse box, top L plug, pin 14, Lock is negative trigger thru a 1.4K ohm resistor. Unlock is negative trigger thru a 426 ohm resistor. MUST use relays. Trunk wire-ORANGE / pink ,negative trigger, BCM, gray 26 pin plug, pin 17, Use both wires and diode isolate each. The BCM (Body Control Module) is attached to the left of the fuse box

Yes, the remote start functionality and flashing parking lights and horn are all wired and working well. I hit those exact wires with those resistors using relays. This car had black keys so it did not requre a bypass module.

Yea that was the same as mine was when I was having trouble. My key was also a black key but the module acts as a key immobilizer and a resistor translator as well. With the Libertys, they have different resistance setting with each command (lock, unlock, trunk) and you either have to buy this module that has the settings already or manually do it which is a real PITA. Here is the one I used take a look at it http://www.bypasskit.com/product.aspx?prodid=DLPKCHG1 My terminology may be wrong but unless you did it manually already this is your problem guaranteed. You also will have to update the firmware for what vehicle you have. That threw mw off at first. Good luck! Any questions feel free to reply or pm me
