I'm still researching what Remote Start to order to replace the CS-310 in my truck now (either Ultra Start or Viper at this point). According to https://www.the12volt.com/installbay/forum_posts.asp~TID~52897 at the very bottom, I should not need a bypass module as I do not have a 'grey' key. How can I tell for sure? Regardless, am I correct in assuming there should already be a bypass module installed and should be ok in splicing in a new system? I'm 1000 miles away from the nearest installer, so I need all the help you guys can give, thanks!

yeah as long as you don't have the grey key you will be fine and yes if it did require a by-pass it would have had one.
