Hello friends ,
Since 2 days I am reading , and searching many discussions about Viper 5901 . I found valuable tutorials .
FJ Cruiser dashboard wiring is like Tacoma . According many post , wiring is same
colors .
My big question is the BECU . I did not find any thread clearly showing (photos) were BECU signals are taken .

They may not exist. Look at the BCM, the side next to the steering column, there are 3 plugs on the side(not on the back), the top plug, pin 12, purple / YELLOW is door ajar wire.

Hello friends ,
When counting pins in BECU plugs , you go left to right on top pins , and then on the lower row ............

Hello friends ,
I count 12 on the top plug (of 3 ) at the BECU (right side of fuse box ) . I insert a tiny screwdriver , and I use my DMM . It says about 2800 ohms , and same value with open door ...........
Any idea .........
Thanks for answering ,           rcavictor .

Is the wire purple / YELLOW? It's the only one in all 3 plugs. Put the DVM on voltage, it will go to 12volts positive when the door closes...
