I've been planning to add a eq and a digital bass driver to my system, but i wanted to see if anyone had any suggestions on choosing them, i've been interested in a soundstream eq and bass driver, but i've heard they're not as good as before, any suggestions??

My suggestion, and likely the majority suggestion from THIS crowd will be this:
Forget it.
All they do is add distortion, potential engine noise, and overdrive your amplifiers into clipping faster, risking the very health and life of your woofers. They are bad ideas...
It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."

I'm no expert, and I whole heartedly agree. My kid hasn't figured it out yet, and cannot understand why he keeps destroying subs, and why he has noise. (you can't tell a kid anything about a subwoffer ya know)

an EQ needs to be used responsibly, meaning, dont just hook the thing up and go straight to turning every band all the way up because it makes your subs hit harder(and die faster) and if you get an eq you dont need a bass driver. any decent eq will have a built in line driver and unless you get a good eq you can expect some engine whine to come from it too.
