in the drivers kick panel are the wires like you found.
pink / YELLOW pink/green and they are a negative pulse from remote start to work. to test wire just use a jumper wire from ground and touch either wire and see if it locks or unlocks. i dont think there are more then one pink / YELLOW pink/green in the drivers kick panel

Sweet....my multimeter that i spent a couple of hundred dollars on, is now obsolete. Igrammer has provided me with a shortcut....jumpers. Who wants to help pay my repair bills?

sorry igrammer, what you suggested is COMPLETELY idiotic. you should only use a jumper wire once you have verified its the correct wire. then send a ground pule to is (if negative of course) and seeing it it locks or unlocks.

this makes me wonder how many cars you have wired up and "guessed" the wiring on. if no problems yet, concider yourself VERY lucky.

buying a half decent DMM for under 30 is better than an expensive electrical repair bill.

to test,

dmm red probe to constant 12v

dmm black probe to wire you want to test

set DMM to 20vdc, use key in the door lock cylinder, turn the key to lock, and the meter will show a reading. using the switch at the door will not give you a reading. same goes for unlock. sometimes a DMM doesnt register the pulse fast enough, you can turn it to lock and hold it for a second or so, just enough time for the meter to read a value.

LOCK - PINK / YELLOW (-)

UNLOCK - PINK/GREEN (-)
*test while turing key in driver door key cylinder*
