Hi, I have never installed an alarm, but last i got my stereo jacked, so i want to install one.

I cannot afford to have it prof. installed ( plus i want to learn how to do it)

I have learned alot from the web site, and now i need to decide what alarm to buy.

I have a '95 Nissian Sentra and am looking for a basic alarm system,  with a few capabilities (shock sensor, starter disable, door/hood sensor etc..)

Any suggestions?  What system would you buy?

....also....as far as extra tools go i need a micrometer, anything else?

I would go with Prestige APS25KB, they are one of the best in their class and are VERY installer friendly unlike other systems.    Plus if you do buy from ebay Audiovox (makes Prestige) has a tech dept. that any customer such as yourself can get tech support. Hope this helps! Good Luck and let us know what you went with!
