where does everyone get their vehicle information for remote starters with detailed pics and wire locations? Is there a website you subscribe to? If if so where and how much?

Most installers get their info from several different sources. Some of them are free.

If you want to pay, http://www.installogy.com/ is one source for reliable, accurate information. Annual fee is $365.

I personally use Fortin, and enjoy using it. My last resort Omega & Audiovox. Astrochart/Directwire is VERY nice, but only avail to dealers.

Hows about building your own database, i.e. a lot of us take notes and photos when working on new (to us)cars. I'm sure most of us especially Ted do this.

directechs was offering a membership/passwords to shops that just ordered there bypasses(10 at a time)...Not sure if that applies to you...
