2009 volkswagen jetta tdi

I am looking for the stock wiring color codes (headunit) for an 09' Jetta TDI (diesel). I am attempting to install a steering wheel interface but cannot seem to find which wires are attached to the steering wheel controls. Thanks.

Done through a CAN system. Don't PAC etc sell these interfaces? You can also buy a plug in from them to the factory quadlock/MOST radio plug + antenna plug (FAKRA to DIN) converter.

It seems the SWI-JACK from PAC is incompatible with VW's that have double DIN headunits as per the instructions. Can anyone verify if this is true? All the 2009 Jettas came with double din headunits but it says its compatible with 09's.

You need the Pac SWI-CAN module AND SWI-JACK if your headunit is a kenwood, eclipse, alpine, etc.. I tend not to trust PAC on their instructions on newer vehicles. I have sent a couple diagrams of vehicles I did that they said "are not possible" I think your CAN + and - wires are switched around on this vehicle also from what they have listed. I would verify though by testing. Also I can't stress enough to NOT connect the red wire coming off the SWI-CAN to the SWI-JACK. It can cause damage to the module.
