Anyone ever have a problem with shipping. I ordered my viper 5902 from them and had to cancel my order after 3 weeks because they got back ordered. I understand problems arise I just want to make sure this is not an on going problem with them. Customer service was great however and always responded to my e-mails within 24 hours.

I ordered a Viper 5901 from them and had the same problem. I waited about 2 weeks with no sign of the item and no word from them. I emailed them and they said it was backordered. I wasn't in a rush so I waited another 2 weeks. I still hadn't received the item so I decided to cancel my order. They supposedly complied but after about 3 weeks I still didn't have the refund. So I emailed them again, this time threatening to file a claim with the credit card company. They claimed there was an error and their automated system never processed the refund. I finally got the refund a few days later. Overall this company was just a nightmare to deal with and I will not be doing business with them again. As you mentioned problems do arise and I try to be understanding of that but in my experience the way they handle supposed problems is very poor. A google search of "Dealer Cost Car Audio Complaints" shows that this happens far too often. And the BBB gave them an 'F' rating.

yea i ordered a 5901 i waited like 3 weeks nothing

then i emailed them and asked what's in stock they said 5902 so i paid extra and now they are saying i have to wait again now i cant get my money back

this place is a scam dont buy anything from them if they was a big company they would have someone answer the phone

I ordered my Viper 5101 through them. It took a little longer than I expected, but I received it. It didn't come with an owners manual, installation manual, or any documentation for that fact. The ONLY thing in the box was the brain and the wiring. 

When I contacted them to see if I could get some documentation they wouldn't give me anything. Then I contacted DEI, they said they were an UNAUTHORIZED dealer. DEI doesn't sell any of it's products over the counter nor online. They only sell them through authorized dealers which includes installation. 

With all that said, everything works great and the product is a good product.

I would just be cautious about ordering from them next time knowing what I know now.

The don't have anything in stock usually. I've seen/heard/had problems with them directly. They either don't have it in stock or sell some gray market stuff. I would avoid them if possible. I've started to make sure any place I order from is an authorized dealer. Otherwise, it just goes downhill.

I canceled my order And thankfully got my money back. Strange allot of people on this forum have problems with them, yet they sponsor this site dealer cost car audio - Last Post -- posted image.
