There will be a security light somewhere on your vehicle. It will either be in the dash cluster ( should look like a padlock) or up on top of the dash. When you try to remote start, what does this light do. If it starts flashing fast, then is a bypass issue.

Not sure on flasing but I'm 99 percent sure it has to do with bypass. I get 6 flashes from the autocommand modual signifing a security bypass problem or tach problem low voltage caused by tach or security it's all hooked up I'm sure it's just not programmed right. It's a ford transponder that a extra key sits inside the box in ribbon please help me programme someone

on the old designtech starters you may need to cut the green wire loop on the unit. This usualy eliminates ereatic starts. The remote starter thinks it is going into gear, and cutting the green wire should solve this. Also try and disconect the power wire or remove the fuse and reconect it. This will reset the starter.

cutting the green wire did not solve the problem nore effected the modual nor does reseeting the modual.. like i said it has six flashes when i do the diagnostic test and from design tech this means it is to low of voltage to start indicating the security bypass is not working or programmed i dissconnect the wires on the transponder and it does not effect the modual so i know it has to do with the right programming sequence.. does anyone know this.. the programming sequence for programming a ford key transponder to a design tech 26327..

if its a key in a box style bypass the key inside may have lost its programming   try this you will need 2 programmed keys for the car (clones wont work) put the first key in the ing turn it to the on position wait for the pats light to stop flashing once the light goes out with in 5 seconds put the second key in and turn the key to the on position once the light goes out with in 5 seconds hit the remote start button if everything is wired correctly the key in the box should program and the car should start if not you may need to check the bypass and or wiring

key in box did not loose programming it still starts car and i did ur procedure anyways chev104275.. the theft light is blinking fast when it turnes on with remote start and it is not even giving it enough time to crank over anymore where before it did crank over.. i unpluged modual pluged back in to reset and still does the same.. just turns on with the theft light blinking fast so it is a bypass issue i need to know the right sequence to program the key in box transponder to a design tech module.. thanks guys..

key in box requires no programming. Its simply a "key in box" literally.

place the orignal key into the ignition cylinder and leave it in the off position. remote start it a few times. if it starts up no problem, the KIB bypass ring needs to be adjusted.
