blue light won't blink windshield

Hi everyone!!

I have an alarm system orbit.  I just noticed that the blue light stopped working.  It always blinks a blue colour in the windshield and now it has stopped only when the car is parked of course.  My remote control has unlock and lock, car starter, and panic buttons only no trunk button can anyone help me to activate the blue light again.  i drive an oldsmobile intrigue 2002

Does the system still operate properly when you lock/arm it?  I not familiar with Orbit, but  the blinking LED is probably intended to indicate that the alarm is armed.

If so, you could confirm the unit is not in valet mode, then lock/arm the vehicle while you are inside and try opening the door, poping the trunk or hood, or banging on the floor (triggering shock sensor if one is installed)  to see if the alarm is triggered as you normally would expect. 

If the alarm is triggered as you would expect, it may be the LED or the connection from the brain to the LED.  If that is the case, you may want to follow the connection from the LED to the brain and cofirm it is not broken or unplugged.

If the alarm is not in valet mode and does not properly trigger:

If you had this system installed, you may want to return to the shop that did the install, as they should warranty their work. 

If you installed the unit,  and the LED connection is OK, then I would check the install guide and confirm the unit has good fuses, as well as power and ground.  

Also, does the remote start function work properly?
