Guess it depends on what you mean by straight forward. What kind of experience do you have? It will require a bypass module of some kind. The door lock wires are inside the door, so if you want to add door locks, you will need to do this through the module, or spend a bunch of time running wires into the door. I would recommend an Idatlink ads-al dl, and this module will take care of everything, including the mux starter control. I sold an ads-al ca to a guy that  was gonna install a system on a PT cruiser, and kept swearing to me he was an installer, and he would be able to handle it. Guess what, the car was back the next day to have me do the install. So..... what is routine to me, might not be routine to you, but I will gladly help if you need it.

never done one before, but wiring looks pretty laid out. got to go into doors for a few wires, but a canbus module can do that for you.

there are many brands that other installers will recomend. Everyone has their own opinion. i like the idatalink and fortin pieces. not sure what would be best from idatalink, but the fortin INT-SL+ will do pretty much everything for you.

hope this helps.
