hi i have a 2001 Pontiac sunfire and i'm going to be installing a Clifford 50.7 alarm+remote start. i have never done this before so any help would be appreciated.

Do you have any specific questions on your installation? What are you planning to use to bypass the factory anti-theft system?
Installer, IT support, and FFL. I need less hobbies.

just looking for general info, tips, or tricks that could be helpful. when i bought the car there was already a cheap remote start installed in the car that didn't work, so there is already a bypass installed

find out what rs was installed,

you can save some time if you do a trace method where you look at the old unit, find out its function, trace it back to the wire its connected to on the car, snip it away test and solder new wires.
