the door trigger wire is in the same loom as the lock/unlock wires. It say tan but i say its more of a brown colour.
this will only monitor the driver door. the other wire is Dark blue (-) @ passenger kick panel. Diode isolate both wires. bands towards wire on car.

if you cant find it, another location is the keyless module left of the brake pedal. this is a black box with 3 plugs. 1 black and 2 blue connectors.

the blue connector at the end will have your door trigger wire.

How do you test for a door trigger?

I just set my meter to continuity (OHM) touch one probe to the car and probe the suspect wire does the light have to go off door is closed too get a proper reading? It should go to ground when the door is opened right?

Thanks

set dmm to 20DCV, red to constant 12v, black to wire you are testing. open door and it should read 12-14v.

Hey

One more question for you I can’t make up my mind on where to put the brain
On this car there is not much room under the dash I usually put them in the kick
But that would way easy to see on this car then I thought that hollow spot with the
Cover on the driver side but I don’t think it will fit in there the only pace I see
Is in the front of the console what would you do?

Thanks!!
