Autopage RS730 is a sick unit, its really the best solution I personally think especially when using a iDatalink bypass, utilize the 232 cable and it saves on a great deal of wiring! Get the iDatalink ADS-ALCA flashed for your vehicle and wire the 232 cable from the bypass to the 232 port on the remote start its flawless everytime

snakiez-

The 2007 Hyundai Sonata is a fairly straight forward car to add Remote Start/Alarm to;  You do not need a bypass for US models.

I favor Audiovox products (Prestige and Pursuit lines).  If you are looking for a system with 2 way remotes, the APS997A (1400' advertised range, one 5 button 2 way LCD remote, one 5 button 1 way remote) is a good option.  If you are willing to spend more money, the XRO9100 (1 Mile advertised range, one OLED 2 way remote, one 4 button 1 way remote) is also a good alternative.

For 1 way remotes, the APS787(1000' advertised range, two 5 button 1 way remotes) should be considered.

US models do not have an Immobilizer. Canadian models do however. If you are in Illinois,, and bought your car in the US, youshould not need one.

If you have a metal key (no plastic on the part you hold): you don't have an Immobilizer. Sonatas sold in the US usually come with a metal valet key.
