Hey guys,
Just did a 2005 F150 with an Ultra remote start and Fortin bypass. The install went smooth with no issues finding wires or making the connections. It appears every 5th or 6th time (rough estimate) the car will crank, start for a second, then die. The remote start will attempt to re-engage and run smoothly after that. To me it seems like maybe the bypass is at fault? Anyone have any ideas? The majority of the time it starts without any issues. Also, the remote start is auto-tached, maybe the auto-tach is causing the problem? I re-tach learned the system too. Thanks in advance!

If auto-tach is the same as virtual tach, that is more than likely your problem.  Connect the tach wire.
