I am installing an autopage remote start using an im05 on a 2010 f150. Customer states that they only have one key, can this work? Can u just program the same key twice?

Nope.  If you are using 5.PKTI Ver 1.02 firmware, you need 2 working, non clone keys to program the module.  You can't use the same key twice.
Soldering is fun!

unfortunatly no.

your best bet is to go to a locksmith, buy a blank and have it programmed. take that newly made key and use a 556u/key in box bypass.

ADS (idatalink.com) can do it.
You need not only their module, but also their uploader cable to flash the module.
Also, have your customer leave the truck with you for the day. You have to connect to the truck first, then connect the module back to your computer and upload the information to ADS, and then (usually within a few hours) they can send you a special firmware for your module, to complete the installation.
