adding extra relay to hids

or better yet. poll 86 ( the ground) can i run that to the stock bulb plug's ground terminal? i think that made sense.

yup, you got it...87 is the only source going to ballast. As far as ground, you can certainly send it to the negative on the plug, or you can send it back to the ground on your harness. Whatever is the cleanest looking and out of the way will work. I always just ground it to the frame, but again, Im not sure how goo an idea that is on a motorcycle with the frame being exposed to the elements.

I know thats easy for me to say bc my dads an electrical enginner and helps me out, but once youve done it once (or in my case, messed it up once) theyr pretty much all the same. Im still looking for that pic btw. I have one for a h4, and if i cant find the h7, ill just post that one. in the end, its gonna be pretty much the same
