12 surround sound in rv

Thanks for the help. What I want to do is install a 12volt AM/FM/CD/DVD head unit in my 5th wheelRV. I would like it to have surround sound capability for DVD play back. think home theater, only 12 volt. power I've got--4 6V batts and 600 watts of solar I need ideas for: head units surround processors, if needed amps, if needed will it work with a 32in TV? speakers, poweRED / not powered not even sure what questions to ask, just know what I want. thanks for thinking outside the box Barney lost as a ball in tall grass

Does it have any AC conversion currently?-(can you plug in a toaster)? I dont know whats better... Converting power to 120v and using a home audio/video player.. or Purchasing the necessary devices in 12v electronics I am sure that either way there will need to be a upgrade to the electrical, for both charging/generating and storage. I would ball park that it would be a lot more expensive to use the 12V electronics route... This is what I do for FUN!

Get a converter to 110V and get all home theater grade equipment. It's cheaper than going the 12volt route and no need to worry about EMI as much when working with 110VJeff

I already have a 2000 watt inverter. I just don't like having to turn the inverter on when I want to listen to the radio. or have to go through the whole setup menu every time I want to watch a movie because the the unit defaults every time the power is turned off. I was hoping someone on here could help me design a system. hoping someone here would think outside the box think mobile theater high speedlost as a ball in tall grass
