I know I need to find the violet wire in the driver door sill that goes to the passanger side, but it is not there.  I have searched and searched for the violet wire, what am I missing? Is there another location I can grab 1 wire that will cover all 4 doors?

An AudioVox note says it might be Green (+) in the same location - under drivers sill in harness coming from passenger side...
Soldering is fun!

I did one during the winter, I remember only having like a inch and a half access to the wire. There was only like 8 wires wrapped in tape that went towards the rear of the car and came out from under the drivers seat under the running board. I only took off the running board so it must be really far back for me to only have had that little access to it. It was purple on the truck I did.
On a side note, I needed a ladder to mount the hood switch and siren - LOL!

There is no Viloet wire, there is one green wire coming from under the driver side seat and it goes rearward in the harness.  But it does not test 12volt like all these wiring diagrams say.  I don't know where else to look???!!!

How about this, I remember that the cars domelight would go off pretty quickly if you left a door open for awhile. I guess so the car battery doesn't die. Make sure your dome lights haven't timed out and are on when you test. A quick turn on of the ignition and back off will turn them back on.
Directed also lists the wire at the SJB in the passengers kick panel yellow/gray.
