Sitting at a red light, can the car next to you hear the noise?

I can only hear it at really low or no volume, so I doubt anyone else can hear it. So would this be a ground issue from my hu or amp?

Have you tried turning the amplifier's gain knob all the way down?  If so, does this get rid of the noise?  Is so, can you still reach your desired listening level?

you have to put the power wire on the other side of the car and redo the ground somewhere else

I did a Lil experiment and with my car turned off I get noise when playing a cd, but since my deck has an iPhone hook up I plugged in my iPhone and when I played music from the iPhone, no noise even with engine on. What would fix this or is this how all cd players are? Also I have my power wire ran on the same side of the battery, but opposite my rca's, I am looking into getting a ground block for all my rear grounds, would a ground block be a good choice, I have a 2000 Monte Carlo so it's hard to find good grounding points close to all my amps in my trunk

When you switch from CD to Iphone, is there a huge difference in volume between the 2 sources?  Does your radio have the ability to adjust the level of a particular source?
