This can be accomplished with your two switches, a diode and two relays.

Relay #1

85 Ground input from ON button

86 to 30 of relay #2

87A not used

30 Ground

87 negative output to load

Also connect a diode with stripe to 87 and other side of diode to 85. This will latch this relay on.

Relay #2

85 Ground input from OFF button

86 +12v

87A +12v

30 to 86 of relay #1

87 not used

This relay is used to interrupt the +12v supply to the coil on relay #1, which turns the circuit off.
