Is it possible to install a remote starter on a 2004 ford lightning?

In short Yes, and you will need an immobilizer bypass.

I'am not sure what a immobilizer is?is that like a universal alarm bypass module?

 I believe your Ford F150 Lightening has the transponder key Ford PATS3 system. 

There are several good immobilizer bypasses for that application that don't require loosing a key.  .  The PKALL and PKFM from Directed are good and come pre-programmed.  Fortin makes the Key-Overide-ALL and PATS3 that will work.

HI,The book for the truck says it is a securelock system,but it does have a key like a transponder.(sorry I took so long to reply).
